Aside from a few annoying cell phones, the Bakersfield High Winter Choir Concert was an extravaganza of charities and music.
Who would have thought that Choir Director Christopher Borges' engaging BHS choir ensembles would help the Concert to End Slavery,
VH1 Save The Music, US Soldiers or help a family through the Heifer Foundation.
But then as was pointed out the entire night, this is the Christmas spirit Bakersfield High style.
As for the Christmas show. Try rocking out by listening to a choir one day. You might be surprised at how emotionally charging live choir music is. And with five ensembles, BHS is no slouch... the entire concert rocked...
